Lastchanceforlove (f, 4, Violence–Awe Hush, by Awesome Again)
LASTCHANCEFORLOVE (f, 4, Violence–Awe Hush, by Awesome Again), made a winning turf debut at Lone Star Park after being out of action since last August’s Audubon Oaks at Ellis Park. From the inside, the Violence filly battled for the lead. She then slowed down as she approached the homestretch. However, the dark bay/brown filly rallied late to win by a half length behind jockey Reylu Guiterrez’s tenacious push. In her five career outings, Lastchanceforlove has won three races.
The winner’s dam is also represented by Can’t Hush This, a 2-year-old colt by Not This Time that fetched $220,000 at the 2020 Keeneland September Sale, a yearling filly by Accelerate and is expecting a foal by Mitole this year.
Sales history: $190,000 Ylg ’18 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 5-3-0-0, $68,844. O-Wayne Sanders & Larry Hirsch; B-White Fox Farm (KY); T-Bret Calhoun.
Clark Shepherd (Shepherd Equine Advisers), bloodstock agent for Wayne Sanders & Larry Hirsch, purchased Lastchanceforlove at the 2018 Keeneland September Yearling Sale from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency.
