The Addison Pour (g, 3, Tonalist–Graser (IRE), by Motivator (GB))
The Addison Pour (g, 3, Tonalist–Graser (IRE), by Motivator (GB)), on January 23, broke his maiden over six furlongs. He then ran 1 1/16 miles to finish second in an allowance race on Feb. 10 and third by a head on March 25 at the same distance, all in Laurel Park races.
The Tonalist gelding, who was sent off at odds of 2-1, was a little rank early on while racing four wide up the backstretch. He eventually settled into fourth position, satisfied to let Uncle Irish and Holy Synchronicity compete in a speed duel. When asked to go as they approached the far turn, he responded by looping the early leaders at the top of the stretch to engage Uncle Irish with a sixteenth to go. The Addison Pour won by a nose over the other in a head-to-head battle.
Lifetime Record: 4-2-1-1, $88,045. O/B- The Elkstone Group LLC (MD); T-Brittany Russell.
