ADARE MANOR, 3yo filly, (Uncle M0 – Brooklynsway, by Giant Gizmo)

Owner(s): Michael Lund Petersen
Breeder(s): Town & Country Horse Farms, LLC & Gary Broad (KY)
Trainer: Bob Baffert
Adare Manor’s last-out Grade 3 Las Virgenes win improved her record to 2-1-0 in four races bringing her total earnings to $176,600. Her two defeats occurred in sprints, and she has gone 2-for-2 since increasing her distance to a mile.
Because of Bob Baffert’s two-year ban from Churchill Downs, Adare Manor did not get any points for her performance in the Las Virgenes, which was worth 10 points on a 10-4-2-1 scale as a Road to the Kentucky Oaks prep event. In the event that the scenario dictates that she is unable to compete in the Oaks as long as Baffert remains the trainer, what will her owner do?
Bred by Town & Country Horse Farms and Gary Broad in Kentucky, Adare Manor is a veteran of the auction market, having most recently sold as a juvenile at OBS for $375,000 to her present connections last summer.
She is the first foal to be produced by Grade 3 winner Brooklynsway, a Giant Gizmo mare whose notable victories include the 2015 Bison City S., a Canadian fillies’ classic, and the 2016 Doubledogdare (G3) at Keeneland. Brooklynsway also has a yearling filly by Into Mischief and was bred to Ghostzapper for a foal in 2022.
